Prodidia
An original story following a newbie queen, Juno, after she usurps the tyrannical king of Prodidia. Over the course of her reign she discovers that, even with the best intentions, power corrupts absolutely.
Juno the Dragon Slayer
Having been a knight and landowning noble woman, Juno's resume confirms her qualification to run a country. There is something down to earth about this usurper. She is a fierce fighter and her willingness to get her hands dirty makes her a woman of the people. She believes in justice and plans to change the kingdom for the better.
Romula the Wolf Mother
A knight and life-long foil to Juno. "Frienemies" if you will. A product of Prodidian culture, she is ambitious and always plotting in the most Shakespearean of ways. She may have fought on Juno's side of the coup, but Juno's temporary reign is only a step in Romula's five year plan to put herself on the throne.
Tower
When Juno wants to hire a wizard to parliament to represent the kingdom's previously disenfranchised magic users, Tower is the only one who will take the job. New to politics, he provides Juno with fresh eyes. Juno's Court is against him from the beginning and even more so as his unlikely friendship with the queen blossoms.
Lysander
Juno's advisor.
Morwen
Juno's former squire and loyal to a fault.
The Nobles
Lord Thopas of Northton, Lord Edmund of Southford, and Lady Isolde of Westwich are the nobles of Juno's court and vary in duplicity.
Romula's Squires
Hector, Reed, and Lavinia hail from different corners of Prodidia and are heirs to their respective estates. All part of Romula's full-kingdom-takeover dreams.
Knights
Other knights of Prodidia. They knew Juno in the Good Ol' Days, before her "promotion."
